Ancestors

The ancestors and the dead are a really important part of the Scottish, Irish and Gaelic cultures. Folks in Scotland can trace their clan lineage back to Pictish kings and the mythological figures from myths and legend.  This has a lot of importance for folk magic and folk stories. Where folk can bring to bear the skill of generations passed through charms, song and dance and folk tales about mythological kings and queens can become tales of your own relations back in the mists of time.
